After a while, you will reach a rest spot by the ruins of the Sågarbo farm. You will also be able to see what is left of a saw works that Stephan de Geer, the owner of Gimo ironworks, bought in 1663. A bit further on you will come across the ruins of Folkmora farm.
Shortly after Sågarbo, there is another clearance, but here the 1-kilometre path is cleared, which makes for easy walking. On approaching the shelter half-way through this part of the trail, the path crosses an area where the grass grows high in late summer.
Look for and keep to the trail markings. During summer, the grass along the trail might be high in certain places.
