Cottage rental at Äventyrens Ö

Information

The island is 1 km long with many beautiful beaches, cliffs and lovely hiking trails along the water - find your favorite place and enjoy life!

We pick you up by boat on the mainland and the boat trip only takes two minutes. When you arrive, your host will inform you of everything you need to know during your stay, but be sure to also read the information before arrival.

The pick-up address is Bammarbodavägen 131. You park by the t-shaped wooden bridge. If you come by bus, you take bus 620 to Bammarboda junction from central Åkersberga. If you come from Stockholm and do not have a car, you can take a ferry from Strömkajen in central Stockholm and go to Stora Timrarö where we will pick you up. Two boat trips are included, one when you come here and one when you leave.

You can rent a small motorboat (SEK 500 per day) to go on your own trips and maybe visit Ljusterö to have dinner at one of their restaurants. Life jackets are included.
We charge 600 SEK for a return trip to Ljusterö.

There are no shops on the island so you must bring all the food and hygiene items you need to the island yourself. If you want, we can cook a delicious breakfast with freshly baked bread in the morning or you can bring your own food. Towel and bedlinen can be rented at the cost of SEK 170 and breakfast is SEK 110.

Barbecuing is only allowed when there is no risk of fire.

Some activities can be rented separately such as zip line, sauna, kayak, gym and motor boat if you want to go to the mainland or a restaurant on the nearby islands.

The Green Cottage - 1 bedroom - 4 beds
Lovely little house with a large garden perfect for a group of friends, families and couples! The house has one bedroom with four beds. kitchen, a living room with sofas and a dining table. An outhouse is located just outside the cottage. There is no shower, but do as we do here on the islands in the summer, go for a swim instead. Beautiful beaches just minutes away.

The summer home for large parties - 11 bedrooms - 26 beds
This house was originally built as a summer resort for widows from central Stockholm.
Since then, it has undergone a huge transformation! The cottage is beautifully decorated with its own large private garden facing the sea in two directions. Perfect for large families or birthday gatherings. Several private sandy beaches within walking distance.

Welcome to our adorable beach cottage that was built 120 years ago!
For people who long to get close to nature. Since the cottage is kept as it used to be, you will use the sea instead of a bathroom when you wash. There is no indoor toilet, but an outbuilding in the garden.
Do you want to go swimming at sunset on your own private beach? Then this is the place for you!

Kajsa Kavat is maybe our most charming cottage - 3 bedrooms - 4 beds
A beautiful, old-fashioned archipelago home. The house has a lovely garden and a beach with a sauna nearby. This is an old archipelago home so there is no toilet and shower inside, but there is a charming outbuilding. For showers, make sure to bring eco-friendly soap and use the ocean as your shower. For those looking for a quiet and peaceful setting to enjoy together with friends, family or your partner.

The Yellow Cottage is a cute little house with boutique décor, two bedrooms, kitchen, a living room and a bathroom.
