Café REKOmmenderas is situated in the old part of the center of Norrtälje in a charming old, white and pink painted building close to the harbour and the bridge Societetsbron, a bustling part of the city. The premises have lots of charm with its low and sloping ceiling and open fire - all interiors are made from recycled materials.

The café is a company that takes social responsibility seriously by through their efforts to integrate unaccompanied minors in work and social activities and also offering rehabilitation work training.

The specialty of the café is Belgian waffles, both sweet and hearty, baked in a special waffle iron. You may choose between salmon, local ham, chicken or beetroot filling. The sweet waffle fillings are caramel and chocolate and are served with ice-cream, whipped cream, raspberries and icing sugar.

The café also serves sourdough bread sandwiches with salami and brie, cheese and local ham or a vegetarian sandwich with halloumi cheese. Also pastries, sandwiches and salads for catering.
